Job Summary
Conduct clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an outpatient clinic under the supervision of a provider or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator. Perform duties consistent with Medical Assistant education, training, and certification, including Basic Life Support (BLS) requirements. Maintain current Medical Assistant certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health. Work 50% FTE with weekend, evening, and night shift differentials available. Join a caring team at Olympic Medical Center, the largest employer in Clallam County, serving the North Olympic Peninsula community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Current Medical Assistant – Certification issued by the WA State Department of Health
- Status of certification as approved, interim (subject to passing the required state-approved examination within 12 months or less), or pending (acceptable for the first 30 days of position only)
