Job Summary
Support clinical and administrative operations in a neurology clinic by assisting providers with patient care, examinations, and diagnostic workflows. Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document histories in the EHR while preparing exam rooms and supplies. Assist with neurological exams, coordinate EEG prep support, and manage appointment scheduling, intake forms, and insurance verification. Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and follow infection control protocols. Provide professional patient care, collaborate with providers and staff, and ensure efficient patient flow.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Prior experience in a medical office or outpatient clinic preferred
- Experience in neurology, specialty clinics, or diagnostic settings
- Familiarity with EEG workflows or neurological terminology
- Patient-centered approach and strong bedside manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
