Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant at CenterWell Senior Primary Care performs clinical duties including discussing symptoms with patients, taking vital signs, injections, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, maintaining examination rooms, and collaborating with physicians and nurses. The role is patient-facing, participates in Humana's TB screening program, and requires cross-training in other roles based on business need; preferred experience includes phlebotomy and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. The work involves fast-paced, high-volume clinical settings with emphasis on quality standards and adherence to area/department policies, within defined parameters and some independent discretion. Benefits are provided and scheduling is 40 hours per week.
