Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and administrative support. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care, including discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, administering medications and vaccines, performing diagnostic screening tests, sterilizing equipment, maintaining examination rooms, documenting information into the EMR system, and collaborating with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Role involves patient-facing activities within Humana CenterWell Senior Primary Care, TB screening participation, and potential mentoring of other Medical Assistants; includes opportunities for education/training and participating in value-based care initiatives (HEDIS/CPT/ ICD coding, CAHPS/HOS). The position is full-time with a pay range of $44,900–$60,200 per year and includes available benefits and a HireVue interview process.
