Job Summary
Medical Assistant in an ambulatory genetics setting supporting physicians and advanced practice providers; assists in the preparation and delivery of ambulatory patient care in accordance with departmental policies, emphasizing good customer relations and alignment with the nursing process to augment the medical plan of treatment; requires a high school diploma, plus either graduation from an accredited MA program or current MA certification, and current BLS certification (national certification preferred); schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; Cook Children’s Health system emphasizes equal opportunity employment.
