Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms by sanitizing, stocking supplies, and ensuring medications and vaccines are ready. Review upcoming appointments to identify gaps in care for screenings and immunizations, then escort patients to rooms and manage flow. Take and record vitals, history, allergies, and medications; assist with procedures like EKGs and in-office testing. Collect and process lab specimens while performing quality control on equipment. Help at the front desk by greeting patients, answering phones, and verifying insurance. Collaborate with providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program graduation and BCLS certification, with a salary range of $25.66 to $33.36 per hour. Required Qualifications
