Job Summary
Conduct triage, take vital signs, and document patient histories in the EMR system. Collect routine lab specimens, administer medications and non-IV injections, and perform basic clinical and aseptic procedures. Start IVs, place catheters, and assist with occupational medicine services including drug screening and pulmonary function testing. Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance while operating medical equipment and overseeing quality assurance protocols. Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required. Full-time 3-day/12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM with no overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 1+ year of healthcare experience
- Proficiency in venipuncture
- Proficiency in injections
- Proficiency in clinical procedures
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work holidays
- Willingness to travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required
Desired Qualifications
