Job Summary
Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience, measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information, and prepare exam rooms to assist providers during visits. Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples, support front office and administrative clinic functions, and maintain accurate documentation following clinical protocols. Deliver concierge-level customer service and compassionate patient care while exercising sound clinical judgment within your scope. This full-time, 40-hour Monday 8:30am-5pm role requires a BLS certification and high school diploma, with experience in a formal Medical Assistant program or on-the-job training preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS Certification
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with diploma/certificate and at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience
- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience obtained through on-the-job training
- Relevant military medic experience
- Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment
