Medical Assistant - Canton, GA

Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the medical office setting by performing a variety of patient care duties within the multidisciplinary team structure as delegated by the supervising physician. Duties are assigned based on competency established after evaluation by clinical staff and the Practice Coordinator. Requires one year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Includes visual color acuity screening depending on the specific unit. Schedule is 8am to 5pm.
