Medical Assistant - Cancer Institute - FT - Days - $2,500 Sign on Bonus - MPG - Hollywood

Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area. Under supervision, assists with patient assessments and treatments; obtains vital signs, height/weight, brief history, medications, allergies, required screenings, and other pertinent information. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection (phlebotomy), activates MyChart accounts, and ensures Telehealth connectivity. Handles administrative duties (scheduling, data entry, patient registration), maintains equipment and supplies, and monitors patient condition. Provides discharge instructions and follow-ups, conducts rounds to ensure excellent patient experience, and supports patient education and resource provision. Maintains exam areas and follows protocols for safety and infection control. Works with minimal supervision in a stressful environment and demonstrates accountability and problem-solving in patient care.
