Job Summary
Conduct administrative and clinical duties under medical provider direction, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing for insurance. Perform clinical tasks such as recording vital signs, preparing examination rooms, assisting with procedures, collecting biological specimens, and drawing blood via venipuncture or capillary methods. Manage patient data entry into electronic systems, analyze performance metrics for compliance, and dispose of biomedical waste according to safety standards. Maintain strict confidentiality for sensitive information while meeting quality standards for the patient-centered medical home model. Valid driver's license and Montana state licensure are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license by the State of Montana
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Knowledge of medications, immunizations, communicable diseases, CPR, and other related nursing procedures
- Active listening, good communication skills and social perceptiveness
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to meet the standards and metrics of the patient centered medical home model and quality improvement measures
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant license or comparable work-related skills, knowledge and experience
