Job Summary
Bridge Year Medical Assistant in a dermatology practice. Duties include evaluating skin conditions, assessing and updating medical history, recording dermatological symptoms, analyzing skin-health information, informing patients about treatments, conducting non-intrusive medical procedures, educating patients on preventive skin care, and screening patients and employees upon entry. Requires customer service experience, computer literacy, and ability to learn medical terminology and vital signs; at least one year of dermatology experience preferred and an MA certificate/diploma from a medical vocational program preferred.
