Job Summary
A Medical Assistant supports the clinical team by completing the rooming process, taking vital signs, conducting tests, documenting patient data in eCW, and ensuring clinical areas are organized and stocked. Responsibilities also include performing in-house labs, collecting specimens, maintaining logs, and handling clerical tasks such as answering phones and communicating issues to nursing staff. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, a Medical Assistant Certification, and completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
