Job Summary
Conduct triage, take vital signs, and document patient histories in the EMR system. Collect laboratory specimens and administer medications, including IVs, catheters, and various injections. Perform clinical and laboratory procedures while supporting Occupational Medicine services such as drug screening and pulmonary function testing. Enforce HIPAA and OSHA compliance and oversee quality assurance programs. Operate medical equipment and perform general administrative tasks. Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required for staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- willing to train outstanding new graduates
- Proficiency in venipuncture
- injections

- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
