Medical Assistant - Braselton

Medical Assistant sought for Piedmont Urgent Care in Braselton to perform patient preparation, triage, vital signs, and documentation of patient history in EMR. Responsibilities include collecting routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs), administering medications and injections (IM, subcutaneous, intradermal), starting IVs, placing catheters, and performing splinting when necessary. Support occupational medicine services (drug screening, audiograms, pulmonary function testing) while ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Perform basic clinical, aseptic, and laboratory procedures, assist with administrative tasks and office procedures, and oversee quality assurance and CLIA requirements. Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required. Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, 1+ year of MA experience (urgent care or ER a plus), proficiency with venipuncture, injections, and EMR software (EPIC preferred). Schedule is full-time, 12-hour shifts (3 days), including weekends and holidays.
