Job Summary
Interview patients to gather medical history and measure vital signs, accurately record data in electronic medical records, and collect specimens for lab testing. Assist physicians during exams by preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, and administering medications as directed. Perform phlebotomy and diagnostic tests, conduct phone consultations regarding results, and stock exam rooms while managing waste and monitoring supplies. Maintain work areas and equipment in compliance with safety protocols, report concerns promptly, and participate in annual education programs. Work Monday through Thursday with Fridays off, requiring bilingual English/Spanish skills and BLS/CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Up to one year experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Basic front desk, clerical or healthcare support specialist skills/experience
- Ability to work with clinical staff
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to multitask within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to the concepts of preventive health care
- Commitment to a team approach to health care delivery
- Experience working with computers
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
