Medical Assistant (Bilingual)

Job Summary
Conduct patient intakes by documenting history, vital signs, and symptoms in medical records. Administer immunizations and medications per provider instructions while performing venipuncture. Maintain lab duties including specimen processing, quality checks, and infection control documentation. Assist physicians with physical examinations and specialized treatments. Check equipment functionality, stock supplies, and manage inventory. Travel to Centro Del Barrio sites to carry out assigned duties. Maintain good relationships with patients and staff while demonstrating competence with all individuals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assisting Program
- 1 year experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
- Must be able to meet the attendance requirements of the position
- Must not pose a threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally
- Bilingual
