Job Summary
Conduct patient intake, measure vital signs, and perform routine diagnostic testing during appointments while engaging critically with patients to report changing conditions to clinical personnel. Change dressings, apply bandages, and remove sutures under physician supervision, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and accurate documentation. Process patient phone messages by returning calls and routing inquiries appropriately to relay pertinent information to physicians. Provide health coaching to defined patient groups via weekly calls to support healthy lifestyle choices. Requires bilingual proficiency, minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience, and six months of phlebotomy experience. Hourly pay at ArchWell Health, a provider-focused organization dedicated to primary care for seniors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED)
- Must be bilingual (insert language need)
- A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.)
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
- Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
