Job Summary

Conduct patient intake by measuring vital signs, recording medical history, and performing routine examinations and screenings. Assist physicians with first aid procedures such as changing dressings, applying bandages, and removing sutures under supervision. Engage with patients throughout appointments to report changing conditions to clinical personnel and process phone messages by returning calls and routing inquiries appropriately. Provide health coaching to defined patient groups and follow up via weekly calls to support healthy lifestyle choices. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain accurate, legal, and ethical documentation. This role supports the primary care team at ArchWell Health, a value-based care organization focused on delivering excellent care to seniors.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education (GED)
  • Must be bilingual (insert language need) and able to pass formal proficiency exam as part of the selection process
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.)
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
  • Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings

Desired Qualifications

  • 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
