Medical Assistant / BH-Outpatient

Assist the physician in patient care, including vital sign collection, diagnostic testing, medication administration, and patient teaching under the direction of licensed practitioners. Coordinate scheduling of diagnostic tests and procedures with patients, physicians, and insurance companies while completing accurate patient care documentation in the electronic medical record. Respond appropriately to crisis situations and emergencies as needed. Perform physical requirements and travel to other clinics as directed. Requires current NCMA certification, Medication Aide registration, and BLS certification.
