Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed to support dermatology physicians in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities include patient rooming, documenting histories, preparing and assisting with dermatologic procedures (biopsies, ED&Cs, I&D, Botox, laser treatments, excisions), administering local anesthesia, maintaining sterile techniques, scribing, handling prescription refills and prior authorizations, logging pathology samples, coordinating with labs, and operating dermatology-related equipment (Narrowband UVB, photodynamic therapy, liquid nitrogen). Requires high school diploma or GED, 3 years MA experience (dermatology preferred), and active CMA certification. Must be detail-oriented with strong teamwork and communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic healthcare setting. Occasional heavy lifting and standing for extended periods included; regular attendance required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
