Job Summary
Take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, complete clinical orders and procedures, handle documentation, and manage patient discharge. Work part-time, 24 hours a week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. Join the Oncology team at Baystate Health's Greenfield facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
- MAI & MAII - requires graduate of accredited MA program
- MAI & MAII - minimum of 3 years current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting
- MAIII - requires graduate of accredited MA program
- MAIII - minimum of 3 years current medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting
- MAIII - demonstrated competencies of MA III (evaluated by hiring manager)
- MAIII - minimum 5 years current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting
- MAIV - Minimum of two years as an MAIII at a Baystate Health
- MAIV - demonstrated competencies for promotion to MA IV
- MAIV - Graduate of an accredited MA program
- MAIV - registered/certified by a third-party credential body
- Credentialing must be awarded by a third-party credentialing body
- Registered through Medical Assistant (ARMA)
- Registered through American Medical Technologist (AMT) association
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association (NHA)
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
