Greet patients from the waiting room, perform intake activities, and document vital signs, medications, and allergies while verifying electronic medical records. Transcribe demographic and medical history from intake forms, update patient charts, and prepare examination areas with necessary supplies and gowns. Conduct in-office testing, collect and process specimens, coordinate ancillary services, and maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies. Perform pathology audits, coach colleagues on procedures, and demonstrate sterile techniques for surgical setup and patient recovery under RN direction. Fulfill compliance responsibilities and model organizational values while ensuring timely patient flow and clean environmental rounds.
