Job Summary
Prepare patient charts, welcome visitors, and escort them to examination rooms while recording vitals, medical histories, and reasons for visits. Perform delegated tasks including administering injections, conducting visual acuity screenings, drawing blood, collecting specimens, and communicating drug screening results. Maintain exam room cleanliness by stocking supplies and disposing of biohazard waste, then collaborate with providers to troubleshoot patient issues. This onsite role at Denova Collaborative Health LLC runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant certificate or a CAAHEP-accredited program
- Must hold valid and current BLS certification
- Must hold an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- An associate degree in a health-related field or certification as a Medical Assistant
- At least six months of healthcare experience
- Proficiency in using electronic record-keeping systems such as EMR, billing software, insurance carrier portals, and spreadsheets
- Bilingual candidates
