Medical Assistant

Entry-level Medical Assistant provides foundational clinical and administrative support in pediatric ambulatory clinics under supervision. Responsibilities include roomsing patients, obtaining vital signs, updating health information in the EMR, administering medications and immunizations under provider orders, performing phlebotomy and specimen collection, conducting point-of-care testing, documenting results, recognizing changes in patient condition and notifying providers, maintaining clinic flow, preparing exam rooms, managing supplies, adhering to infection prevention standards, documenting delegated tasks in the EMR, supporting quality and population health initiatives, reinforcing provider instructions, and performing additional duties as assigned to ensure safe, high-quality pediatric care.
