Job Summary
Conduct patient intake by measuring vital signs, recording medical history, and performing routine screenings while ensuring all concerns are addressed. Engage with patients throughout appointments to report changing conditions to clinical personnel and manage phone messages, including returning calls and relaying information to physicians. Provide first aid procedures such as changing dressings and removing sutures under physician supervision, while maintaining compliance with OSHA safety standards and accurate documentation. Deliver health coaching to defined patient groups via weekly calls to support healthy lifestyle choices. Requires a high school diploma, accredited medical assistant program training, and one year of relevant experience. Hourly rate $20–$23. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED)
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.)
- A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- EClinical Works or similar EMR experience
- Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings
Desired Qualifications
- 6+months' phlebotomy experience
- Experience working with geriatric patients
