Job Summary
Support the PCP day-to-day as part of a clinical care team in primary care, greeting and rooming ArchWell Health members; perform intake, vital signs, medical history, examinations, and routine screenings; assist with diagnostic testing as needed; MA-Float coverage may be required outside primary center; ensure patient questions are addressed and coordinate with PCP, specialists, and other clinical staff; maintain OSHA compliance and accurate documentation; provide health coaching and follow-up via weekly calls; strong focus on patient experience and effective communication; proficient with EMR systems (EClinical Works) and common office software; travel for company meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training required
- A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- EClinical Works or similar EMR experience
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
- Phlebotomy experience 6+ months highly desired
- Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings
