Job Summary
Medical Assistant for OB/GYN practice in Burnsville. Responsibilities include verifying patient information, recording medical history, measuring vital signs, collecting blood specimens via venipuncture, performing in-house tests (UA, Hemoglobin, 1 hour glucose, 3 hour glucose, ICT stool), assisting physician and physician assistant in exam rooms, giving patient instructions, ensuring all related reports and labs are filed in medical records, maintaining exam rooms and supplies, maintaining logs and required checks, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires graduation from a Medical Assistant or MLT program, AAMA or AMT certification (or willingness to become certified), 1+ year clinic experience, and preferred limited-scope x-ray license. Required Qualifications

- 1+ years’ Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting

- Willing to train Medical Assistant that has completed externship
