Job Summary
Medical Assistant role at Allina Health Springfield Clinic (8-hour Day shifts, 0.8 FTE) focused on supporting providers and nursing staff in delivering timely patient care. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completed Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare education program
- Candidates with fewer than six months MA experience must have completed minimum of 160 hours of clinical externship or equivalent
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross or in-house BLS within 30 days of hire
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, CMAA)
