Job Summary

Accompany providers during patient visits, triage patients by taking vital signs, collecting histories, and performing observational examinations. Administer medications and treatments as directed, perform routine tests such as ECGs and specimen collection, and assist with procedures. Scribe documentation in the EHR, enter orders for procedures or labs, and manage billing information. Greet patients, screen them for appropriate information, instruct on sample collection, and schedule follow-up appointments. Maintain exam room cleanliness, prepare equipment, and report improperly operating medical equipment to the supervisor. Communicate professionally with physicians and staff to resolve problems while maintaining patient and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • State LPN Licensure
  • BLS Certification

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year of Dermatology experience
