Job Summary
Medical Assistant (MA) for Allergy program supporting physicians, PAs or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow and procedures in VillageMD network. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, escorting patients, maintaining efficient patient flow, preparing for visits, updating patient information in EHR, documenting allergies and medication lists, ordering and scheduling in PMS/EHR, stocking supplies, processing referrals, and ensuring safety protocols. Role requires handling vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, height/weight), communicating patient needs, and providing scribing services as needed. Travel to satellite offices is required. Must have completed a medical assistant or phlebotomy program, with 0-1 year of related experience; BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire; strong English communication and computer skills are required."} wrap-up-quality-filter:{
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, required
- 0-1 year related work experience, required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required
