Job Summary
Provide patient care in a dermatology setting: evaluate skin conditions, assess and update medical history, maintain records of dermatological symptoms, analyze skin health information, inform patients about treatments, conduct non-intrusive medical procedures, educate patients on preventive skin care, and screen patients and employees upon entry. Requires strong customer service and computer literacy; CPR certification strongly preferred or obtainable within 4 weeks; dermatology experience and MA certificate/diploma from a medical vocational program preferred. Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- Must be computer literate
- CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
- At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
- MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
