Medical Assistant (26-89)

Medical Assistant needed for direct clinical services in the outpatient psychiatric/behavioral health setting (Psychiatric Services Clinic or Integrated Case Management). Works in a multidisciplinary team-based model aligned with NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home guidelines. In-person role based at Grand Rapids, MI from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) with no weekends or on-call requirements. Responsibilities include supporting clients in ongoing outpatient care, assisting with documentation, and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team; minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, at least one year of clinical MA experience, CPR certification (or ability to obtain within six months), and foundational medical terminology and computer skills. Preferred qualifications include CMA or RMA certification, experience with EHR, and familiarity with psychiatric/substance use disorder services.
