Job Summary
Provide patient care in outpatient settings under physician direction by welcoming patients, verifying histories, taking vital signs, and assisting with examinations. Support clinical delivery through blood draws, specimen preparation, instrument sterilization, and dressing changes while maintaining clinical flow across four walk-in centers. Complete records, schedule procedures, and manage phone inquiries for prescriptions and forms. Work 11- or 12-hour shifts four days a week, including weekends, with a $5K sign-on bonus. Certification or diploma from an accredited program is required, along with BLS or Heart Saver certification.
Required Qualifications
- Certification or Diploma from accredited Medical Assistant school/program
- Must be able to work weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heart Saver OR BLS Certification
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written English proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- National Certification
- Two years job experience
- Demonstrate basic computer skills ( MS Office, Word, Excel)
- Demonstrates strong phone/customer service skills
- Demonstrate willingness to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate flexibility due to unexpected changes in workload
