Job Summary
Medical Assistant role in outpatient clinic handling patient intake, initial triage, and direct patient care under supervision. Performs routine clinical procedures (EKG, immunizations, ear lavage, nebulizer treatments, suture removal, injections) and maintains exam rooms and supply stock. Focus on customer service, adherence to policies/regulations, and efficient patient flow with providers.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with company policies and healthcare regulations
- Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training and certification preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of business office procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to greet patients and answer phones in a professional manner
