Job Summary
Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinical setting performing patient intake, initial triage, and direct patient care under general supervision. Duties include delivering timely triage, assisting with procedures (EKG, immunizations, ear lavage, sterile dressing changes, nebulizer treatments, suture removal, immunizations and therapeutic injections), maintaining exam rooms and supply stock, and upholding safety, infection control, and office policies. Requires excellent customer service, familiarity with healthcare regulations, basic computer skills, and strong communication; certification or equivalent clinical training preferred. The role emphasizes patient flow to providers and adherence to established clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications
