Job Summary
Create 2D and 3D medical illustrations and animations from concept through final production, contributing to storyboarding, look development, compositing, and editing. Research and interpret scientific literature to ensure visual accuracy while collaborating with Creative, Medical, Production, and Client Services teams. Develop medically accurate, visually striking assets that translate complex scientific concepts into clear visual stories within defined project scopes and delivery milestones. Explore new visualization techniques, artistic approaches, and AI tools to improve quality and efficiency. Work under the guidance of the Science Visualization director to evolve team resources and shared workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Working proficiency in Maya
- Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in ZBrush or comparable digital sculpting software
- Degree in Biomedical Communications
- Degree in Art as Applied to Medicine
- Equivalent portfolio-based professional experience
