Job Summary
Lead the medical affairs strategy and execution for the Surgery MSM portfolio across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden, partnering with cross-functional teams to shape evidence-based value propositions, support regulatory and reimbursement interactions, and guide clinical programs. Role includes governing medical information and collaborating with external stakeholders, advisory boards, and KOLs to drive strategic clinical initiatives, including NPI trials and post-market activities. Strong emphasis on scientific leadership, cross-country collaboration, and adapting medical strategies to local healthcare systems while traveling up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree required
- Advanced degrees such as PhD or MBA strongly valued
- 5–10 years of experience across clinical practice, medical affairs, clinical development, or R&D in a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment
- Expertise within a surgical specialty or medical device industry
- Core competencies including high emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership
- Advanced English skills, with ability to communicate effectively in a global environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50% local and international travel
