Job Summary
Orthopedic surgery expert needed as a telework Medical Advisory Reviewer (contract/1099). Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, preparing clear clinical summaries, and answering client questions related to Orthopedic Surgery care. Requires a current, unrestricted Michigan license/certification and US board certification, with at least 5+ years of clinical orthopedic experience. Flexible schedule as an independent contractor with control over case types and workload, orientation/training provided, no doctor–patient relationship and advisory-only reviews, and a remote workflow via an online portal.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Michigan license/certification
- US board certification
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical orthopedic surgery experience
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions
- Maintains credentialing, state licensure, and certifications required to perform the role
