Job Summary
Medical Advisor (Maternity cover) at Ferring UK reporting to the Medical Director, UK & Ireland. Lead scientific presence and relationships with key external experts; facilitate medical education, data generation, and strategic cross-functional collaboration with global R&D, regulatory affairs, and marketing to support product launches and initiatives. Manage advisory boards, symposia, and regional meetings from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements; ensure materials and activities comply with ABPI/IPHA/EFPIA guidelines and Veeva systems. Fixed-term role for ~12 months commencing July 2026. Required: biosciences higher degree (MSc/PhD) or medical degree (PharmD/MD) and 3+ years in field medical affairs; strong communication, project management, and independent working skills; willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- A biosciences higher degree (MSc, PhD) or medical related degree (e.g., PharmD, MD) is required.
- Previous experience (3+ years) in field medical affairs, with a proven track record of engaging with external stakeholders.
