Job Summary
Shape medical strategies to advance patient outcomes and strengthen GSK's leadership in hematology by generating high-impact evidence and actionable insights. Build trusted scientific partnerships to foster collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem while driving research, publications, and scientific communications. Enable cross-functional teams through strategic guidance and champion a culture of scientific excellence and patient focus. This office-based role in Tokyo requires fluent Japanese and English, with experience in evidence generation and engaging healthcare professionals. Fluency in Japanese and strong English communication skills are required, along with 2–5 years in office-based medical roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2–5 years' experience in office based medical roles or a related medical role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in evidence generation and publication planning
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate clinical data
- Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders in Japan
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent Japanese and strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Affairs experience in hematology or oncology
- Strong business acumen combined with scientific credibility
- Experience with product launch
- Familiarity with regulatory, pharmacovigilance and medical governance processes
- Strong presentation skills and experience speaking at scientific meetings
- Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent)
