Job Summary
Lead Medical Affairs for Dermatology: define and execute medical affairs strategy, oversee the medical affairs team, manage budget, and ensure compliant medical support across internal cross-functional teams (brand, HEOR/market access, and sales). Drive evidence-generation activities, including affiliate research and global GMA projects, while fostering innovation, collaboration, and high performance. Build relationships with key external stakeholders and experts, maintain scientific credibility, and contribute to long-range strategic planning for the TA portfolio. Requires advanced medical degree, pharmaceutical medical affairs experience, and strong leadership and strategic thinking.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree (Medical degree or PhD) with relevant specialty experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry medical affairs experience
- Experience in pre-launch and launch phases of a new product or indication.
- Clinical research experience or knowledge highly valued
- Management experience essential
- Strong knowledge and experience within portfolio area
- Proven leadership skills in a cross-functional team environment
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact at senior executive level, with internal and external stakeholders
