Job Summary
Medical Advisor/(Associate) Medical Affairs Manager focused on building AstraZeneca scientific leadership in priority therapeutic areas. Deliver medical input for Brand Strategy and Life Cycle Management, lead medical activities aligned with brand plans, and provide medical education and clinical support to professionals. Engage externally with scientific leaders and healthcare professionals (50% field-based) through advisory boards, ESRs, and scientific exchanges; develop engagement plans with OLs; mentor MSLs; may act as Nominated Signatory for promotional materials and contribute to Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance. Strong emphasis on field engagement with HCPs, data interpretation, and translating clinical data into business strategy; support internal training and cross-functional collaboration. Required Qualifications
- Essential: Masters degree in a scientific discipline
- Experience of Medical Affairs function within a pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive experience in relationship and stakeholder management
- Project management experience
