Job Summary
Deliver safe, individualized nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and outpatients while managing unit staffing via critical thinking and the department staffing matrix. Coordinate patient care across the continuum by interacting with providers, utilizing SBAR for timely communication, and ensuring readiness for emergency situations including code team roles. Lead daily line-ups, manage hourly rounding with AIDET, and ensure accurate documentation of education plans from admission through discharge. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, trauma program development, and committee projects to enhance patient experience and workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
