Job Summary
The Medical Administrative Coordinator under the supervision of the Director of Psychiatry provides essential administrative support to the Psychiatry Support Department. Responsibilities include managing psychiatrist schedules, coordinating appointments, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and providing clients with tele-mental health technical support. Ideal candidates have strong organizational, communication skills, and a minimum of a High School Diploma, with preference for a bachelor’s degree. Two years of medical administrative experience and familiarity with Electronic Health Care Records are highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two (2) years of experience in coordinating administrative offices in a medical setting
- Knowledge of community resources
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to use a personal vehicle for job duties
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Background in behavioral healthcare
- Experience with Electronic Health Care Records, such as EXYM
- Bilingual Spanish speaking ability
