Job Summary
The Medical Administration Registrar will support the Director of Medical Services to improve medical administration systems across Cabrini Health, providing broad exposure to governance, quality improvement, education, and research within a large not-for-profit private healthcare organisation. Onsite, full-time (43 hours/week) role involving responsibilities such as clinical governance activities (clinical audit, risk management, accreditation), handling patient complaints and medico-legal requests, developing and reviewing clinical policies, introducing new technologies and practices, leading innovation initiatives, and managing recruitment and credentialing for the junior medical workforce. The role requires RACMA registrar candidates in advanced training, unconditional AHPRA medical registration, and commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on coordinating quality assurance and governance activities, research governance, and supporting senior leadership. Required Qualifications
- Be enrolled as a RACMA registrar in the later stages of training
- Have unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Be able to take direction and learn from supervisors
- Commitment to development of skills in Medical Administration and QA activities
- Ability to prioritise work and manage workflow
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to engage with change and support the team
