Job Summary
Medical Account Specialist II in Rare Neurology, field-based in Riverside, CA. Responsible for engaging Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts to deliver clinically focused selling messages, drive revenue, and achieve product goals. Develops and executes territory/account/customer plans, builds strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups, and collaborates with cross-functional partners (Reimbursement and Access, Regional Science Managers) to address customer needs, market dynamics, and payer systems. Supports sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and industry events, and leads strategy to expand market share within assigned geography. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of neurology sales experience; launch experience and cross-functional collaboration skills are highly valued. On-site at Riverside, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory
- Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred
- Launch experience is a plus
- Current account management experience in calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current Neurology marketplace
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory
- Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus (not required)
