Job Summary
Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across an assigned geography, delivering clinically focused selling messages to launch Regeneron products and grow brand share and revenue. Builds relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups; collaborates with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs and market dynamics; develops territory/account/catient plans and leads cross-functional coordination to drive product goals; participates in congresses, regional meetings, and industry events; requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years Neurology sales experience with strong account management and strategic planning capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory
- Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales
- Launch experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a concentration in Neurology
- Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets
- Strong account management experience with analytical, problem-solving and planning skills
- Current account management experience in calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current Neurology marketplace
