Job Summary
Field-based Medical Account Specialist II role in Miami, FL focused on Rare Neurology products. Develops and executes territory/account plans, delivers clinically focused selling messages, builds relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups, and collaborates with cross-functional partners (Reimbursement and Access, Regional Science Managers) to address customer needs and market dynamics. Drives product goals and market share through strategic account management, engagement at congresses and regional meetings, and proactive opportunities with large Neurology accounts within assigned geography. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in Neurology sales; launch experience is a plus. Strong emphasis on providing education to healthcare providers, understanding payer systems, and ensuring compliant, integrity-driven performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory
- Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales (or equivalent)
- Launch experience, preferred
- Strong account management skills
- Experience with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations (Neurology)
- Current knowledge of Neurology marketplace and payer systems
- Ability to develop territory/account/customer plans and drive revenue
