Job Summary
Expedite Medicaid eligibility by maintaining daily communication with the Specialized Medicaid Benefits Center and community caseworkers regarding scheduled appointments, verifications, and interview results. Respond to high-volume phone calls and emails from providers, payees, and individuals to resolve eligibility concerns and coordinate required forms for initial enrollment and renewals. Act as an Authorized Representative to process JFS and ODM notices, gather verifications, scan documents into OnBase, and attend Medicaid hearings. Resolve data discrepancies, billing issues, and level of care problems while verifying eligibility using AEFMI and MITS systems. Maintain high-volume data in OnBase and Gatekeeper software, reporting demographic and employment changes to SMBC and CDJFS. Perform Medicaid Administrative Claiming activities consistent with Waiver rules and policies. Work three days in-office at the Highland Hills Green Road Services Center and two days remotely.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid state of Ohio driver's license
- Continued maintenance of excellent driving record
- Pass a drug test
- Pass a criminal records check
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' work experience with CRIS-E system, MITS, and Medicaid eligibility process
- Two years' work experience with HCBS waiver programs
- Two years successful work experience with programs for persons with DD
